| 1 Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Now, shalt thou see, what I will do to Pharaoh,–for, with a strong hand, shall he let them go, and, with a strong hand, shall he drive them out from his land. |

My name JEHOVAH – Jehovah is not a general name, like the word "god," but a proper name, the distinctive personal name of the Almighty Father. R1410:6
In our common version its distinctiveness as a name is lost, being generally rendered, "the LORD." R338:3, R421:4

| 11 Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt,–that he let the sons of Israel go out of his land. |

| 12 And Moses spake before Yahweh, saying,–Lo! the sons of Israel, have not hearkened unto me, how then shall, Pharaoh, hear, I, also being of uncircumcised lips. |

| 13 Thus then did Yahweh speak unto Moses and unto Aaron, yea he gave them a charge unto the sons of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt,–for the bringing forth of the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt. |

| 23 And Aaron took Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, to himself to wife,–and she bare to him–Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. |

| 27 They who were to speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring forth the sons of Israel out of Egypt: The same, Moses and Aaron. |
|
| 28 Thus came it to pass, that, on a certain day, Yahweh spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt. |
|
| 29 So then Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying–I, am Yahweh: Speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, all that, I, am speaking unto thee. |
|
| 30 And Moses said before Yahweh,–Lo! I, am of uncircumcised lips, how then will Pharaoh, hearken unto me? |
