| 1 Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. |

Vows are upon me – Nothing in the Scriptures intimates that our vow to the Lord must be kept secret. Indeed, our baptismal vow we are required to symbolize, or profess, publicly. R4266:4
