| 26 You but not so; but the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and the governor, as he serving. | |
| 27 Which for greater? he reclining, or he serving? not he reclining? I but am in the midst of you as he serving. | |
| 28 You but are those having continued with me in the trials of me. | |

| 37 I say for to you, that yet this the having been written must to be finished in me, that: And with law-breakers he was counted. Also for the things about me an end has. | |
| 38 They but said: O lord, lo, swords here two. He and said to them: Enough it is. | Two swords ... it is enough – Perhaps a symbolic reference to the fact that the Word of the Lord is likened to a sword, and is comprised of two swords, i.e., the old and new testaments. |

| 61 And having turned the Lord looked to the Peter; and was reminded the Peter of the word of the Lord, as he said to him: That before a cock to crow, thou mayest deny me thrice. | |
| 62 And going out, he wept bitterly. | |
