Vine and Fig Tree

1 Kings 4:25 (KJV) And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

2 Kings 18:31 (KJV) Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:

Isaiah 34:4 (KJV) And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

It is interesting to note there are exactly 12 direct references in the Bible that refer to the "vine and fig tree". This would seem to confirm the thought that it has reference to the Twelve tribes of Israel (both Natural and Spiritual).
Natural Israel (The Fig Tree) has 12 tribes.
Spiritual Israel (The Christ, Head and body), the Vine, has 12 tribes (Rev. 7:4-8; Matt. 19:28).
