3 g b w y, m, & p, f G t f, & f t L J X, t s o t f, i t & l. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

4 i r g t i f o t c w i t, a w h r a c f t f. I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

6 & t i l, t w w a h c. t i t c, t, a y h h f t b, y s w i i. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

7 f m d a e i t w, w c n t J X i c i t f. t i a d & a a. For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

8 l t y, t w l n t t w w h w, b t w r a f r. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9 w t, & a n i t d o X, h n G. h t a i t d o X, h h b t f & t s. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 i t c a u y, & b n t d, r h n i y h, n b h G s: If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 f h t b h G s i p o h e d. For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

12 h m t t w u y, i w n w w p & i: b i t t c u y, & s f t f, t o j m b f. Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
